Laura Brutocao is a New Hampshire native whose mission is to use her dance experience to positively inspire younger generations. She is a member of SoulForce, a San Francisco hip hop dance company that performs throughout the Bay Area, including the Goldie Award-winning Hip Hop Dance Fest. A passionate dancer for more than twenty years, Laura has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hip hop, as well as choreography. In 2002, Laura was named one of Oregon's Top 10 High School Senior Dancers. She enjoys spontaneous and improvisational dance, from the stage to the grocery store to the living room. Laura believes in continuous improvement and takes classes in a variety of dance styles to expand and hone her skills. In addition to studying dance, Laura received her BA from Cal State Northridge, majoring in public relations and minoring in psychology.
